Welcome

This is the home of the Flying Tigers, a club of individuals who like to build and fly ultralight aircraft. Our home field is in Boonah, Queensland, Australia.

The club is named in honour of the famous Flying Tigers Squadron which operated in South-East Asia during WW2.

Members have all sorts of aircraft: Drifters, Jabirus, a Savannah, CT's, some Lightwings, and more. When we get around to populating the Gallery, you might like to have a little browse through there.

If you're interested in joining the club, or you'd just like to come along and see us in action, we're usually around most weekends. Our monthly club meetings are on the third Sunday of the month at 11:00am.

Our Senior Vice President John McKeown has a really good aviation blog. Why not take a look?

Treasurer Ian Walker smiles broadly after
his first flight in his newly built Drifter.
Well done, Ian!
